Reputation Management Agreement

1. Purpose and incorporation

This Reputation Management Agreement governs the ForReal.dating Reputation Management System ("RMS"), which collects and publishes member-to-member reputation feedback.

The Reputation Management Agreement Terms are incorporated by reference into, and form part of, both the User Account Agreement and the Terms of Service. By being a member of ForReal.dating, you agree to these Reputation Management Agreement Terms.

2. Who operates the RMS

The RMS is run centrally by ForReal.dating (DCRN Inc.) to serve all members. Feedback is administered by the site operator, not by individual members.

3. Compliance with law

The RMS is designed to comply with applicable laws in Canada and the USA. ForReal.dating takes reasonable steps to avoid spoof (fake) positive or negative feedback, to avoid defamation, and to keep the feedback process fair and consistent. Feedback content must be lawful and truthful.

4. Who may leave feedback

Only a member who meets the feedback rule for the target member may leave feedback about that member, for example, only members who have met them in person. These feedback rules may change from time-to-time at the discretion of the site operator.

5. Starting feedback

Feedback is left from the target member's public profile page. The feedback captures:

  • the reviewer's member identity; and
  • a rating; and
  • optional text explaining the rating.

6. Rating and feedback

The reviewer gives a rating from 0 to 5, in 0.5-point increments, and may enter text explaining the rating.

7. Public visibility

Published feedback, together with the target member's aggregate reputation score, is displayed publicly alongside the target member's profile. Feedback is not anonymous — the reviewer's username is shown with their feedback.

8. Feedback cannot be changed after submission

Once submitted, feedback cannot be changed or deleted by the reviewer through the site. If you believe feedback you submitted contains an error, contact the administrator.

9. Administrator moderation

Feedback may be blocked, modified, or deleted by the administrator if (in the judgement of the site) it violates these Reputation Management Agreement Terms, including when the feedback:

  • is fraudulent or spoof (fake);
  • is based on a significant misunderstanding;
  • is part of a pattern of harassment;
  • uses offensive or unacceptable language.
  • violates the privacy of the person being reviewed, by providing their name, address, or other personally identifying information.
  • is clearly unlawful or slanderous.
  • is likely to cause or prolong a legal dispute.
  • is ordered removed or modified to comply with a legal order.

10. Reputation score

Only published feedback counts toward a member's reputation score. Blocked and deleted feedback does not count.

11. Global on/off

The administrator may enable or disable the RMS at any time. When disabled, no feedback can be given and no reputation scores are shown.
