1. Who we are

ForReal.dating (the "Service") is a dating platform operated by DCRN Inc., a corporation incorporated in the Province of Ontario, Canada. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Information we collect

Account information — your email address and a password (stored only as a one-way hash).
Profile information — your name/username, gender, age, location, appearance details, interests, dating intent, and other profile fields you choose to fill in.
Photos — the photos you upload to your profile.
Verification information — government-issued photo ID and a live video selfie, used solely to verify your identity.
Behavioral information (radical transparency) — the dating intents you search for, the age ranges of people you contact, your response times, your conversation-request statistics, conversations ended and why, in-person meetings, and demerit points. See Section 5.
Messages — the messages you send and receive through the Service, and any "flag this page" reports you submit (including an optional screenshot).
Reputation feedback — feedback you give or receive about other members.
Analytics — basic, cookieless, privacy-respecting page-view analytics.

3. How we use your information

To create and operate your account.
To display your public profile to other members.
To route messages between members without revealing anyone's email address.
To display the public behavioral statistics described in the radical transparency policy.
To operate the reputation system.
To administer the site, including reviewing reports when necessary.
To comply with our legal obligations.

4. What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We do not reveal your contact details (email, phone) to other members — messages are relayed through the site so no one's email address is exposed.
We do not display the content of your private messages to other members.

5. Public visibility and radical transparency

ForReal.dating is a radical-transparency platform. Please read this section carefully.

Profile information (age, gender, orientation, appearance, interests, dating intent, etc.) is visible to all other members.
Behavioral statistics (searches, contact age ranges, response times, conversation-request outcomes, conversation endings, meetings, demerit points) are tracked and publicly displayed to all members.
Message content is private between you and the recipient and is not displayed to other members. Message metadata (count, timing, response intervals) is public.

If you are not comfortable with your on-site behavior being publicly visible, do not use this Service.

6. Data retention

Your information is kept after your account is created.
When you delete your account, it is deactivated: it is removed from all public listings and you can no longer log in. For system integrity, analytics, and abuse prevention, we may retain certain data (including messages, behavioral metrics, and copies of content) after account deletion, in accordance with applicable law.
You may request full erasure of your personal information at any time (see Section 7).

Rectification — edit or correct your profile at any time.
Deletion — contact us to request account deletion.
Portability, restriction, and objection — contact us.

8. Analytics

We use basic, cookieless, privacy-respecting page-view analytics to understand site usage. No advertising cookies are used.
